What makes the school special
The school has an Excellence in Surfing program, and an Excellence in Music Program (Music Performance).
The school offers Instrumental Music Lessons (Woodwind, Brass, Percussion & Strings) as well as small group singing lessons. All lessons are held on a rotational basis. The school has the following ensembles:
Concert Band (rehearses Monday afternoon 3.15pm - 4.30pm
String Orchestra (rehearses 7.50am Monday mornings)
Choir (rehearses Wednesday afternoon)
Small Vocal Groups (rehearse at various times)
2xPercussion Ensembles (rehearse Thursday and Friday mornings before school)
Stage Band (rehearse 3.15 - 4.30pm Thursday afternoon)
The school also has a cheersquad (audition beginning each school year) which competes at local and interstate competitions.
Maths tutorials are held weekly for all interested students.
